Week 97
Ralph Lauren's curated collection of stamps, a Scandinavian summer wardrobe, why the Nordstrom Cafe was the ultimate mother-daughter experience, my thoughts on track pants, and more!
Hi! How are you? It’s been two weeks since my last newsletter, and I promise it wasn’t intentional. My mom drove me and the boys back to Chicago last Saturday, and I fully planned to finish the newsletter up that evening, but we arrived home to no internet (because, of course). By the time we got it fixed, the week was off and running, and, well, here we are. Regardless, happy belated Mother’s Day to all the moms - I hope it was lovely!
After being away for a few weeks, we are getting back into the swing of things, and it feels so nice. This weekend we’re planting our flowers, and I’m also going to try to grow a little rosemary and dill (from seeds!) with our toddler. He’s at an age where it’s so fun to introduce him to new things and see what sparks. And while I love that he loves sports and Paw Patrol and all the little boy things, I secretly hope there’s a budding artist or gardener or chef in there too.
In other news, here's what caught my eye this week:
Ralph Lauren has curated a collection of stamps for the U.S. Postal Service and it’s so good!
The Scandinavian Summer Wardrobe (I loved this).
The cutest little bucket bag.
Why the Nordstrom Cafe Was the Ultimate Mother-Daughter Experience.
Guys, I think I might be into track pants.
How I Actually Have “Me” Time as a Mom (this was an interesting read).
I made this spicy peanut chicken salad to have for lunches this week, and it was 10/10.
Next up on my watch list - have you seen it yet?
ChappyWrap launched outdoor blankets, and I’m on the waitlist for the striped one.
