Something that has been on my mind a lot these last few weeks is how to get it allll done - I know so many of you can relate! I happened upon this article this week, and it got my wheels turning.
Between family, the house, work, this newsletter, trying to make mom friends, and maintaining some semblance of a social life, it's a puzzle I haven't quite figured out. The things I've struggled to find time for almost sound silly - making dinner early so we can eat as a family, consistently posting to The Weekly Instagram, and actually doing my hair (I'm in a baseball cap 90% of the time these days!).
I'm going to try using the tips in the article, as well as this PDF I saved when I read Happier Hour earlier this year, to better structure my week and create the routines I think will help. Some things I'm already thinking: pick one or two days per week (for example, Mondays and Thursdays) to make a crockpot dinner so we're not scrambling at the end of the day, and wash and style my hair every Sunday (because one day a week is better than none). None of this is revolutionary, but I think creating a routine and having these things in my schedule will help (at least I hope!).
Tell me, what routines have you incorporated into your week? I need all the tips!!
In other news, here's what caught my eye this week:
A toiletry bag that turns into a personal vanity.
This is genius, and looks so good.
Counting down the days until this documentary comes out.
Dock & Bay makes our favorite towels for summer (we actually use them as blankets) - they are quick drying and fold up super small, which makes them perfect for on-the-go.
A dreamy little cottage.
I recently subscribed to The Minimalista Edit for all things organization, and I'm very excited about it!
The cutest outdoor sensory table for little ones.
Per the above, I just saved this crockpot recipe for an easy weeknight dinner.
What a charming hobby!
This square phone case is the coolest.
